I loved "Pride and Prejudice" and since I was on a Jane Austen kick when I bought this book, I really just had to have it. I'm so glad I read it. I think this is a great twist on the original story. No, the original characters aren't used, but Hubbard's characters are based upon Austen's characters and you can clearly see who is who. I have to say, I loved Callie and Alex together. They obviously don't begin by liking each other, but they grow to have such a tender and sweet relationship. I'm not fully satisfied with the ending but I did like it. Overall, I would recommend this book to people who love Austen and books about traveling to the past.
